Prathamesh Choudhury is a Hindustani Classical Vocalist, based out of Bangalore.
Prathamesh is a budding Hindustani Classical Vocalist who has been a varied career in a variety of spheres.
Born in Almora Uttarakhand, in a Musical family, he is the son of vocalist Vidushi Rashmi Choudhury and tabla prodigy of Lucknow Gharana, Sri Pankaj Kumar Choudhury. He took initial training under his mother, Rashmi Choudhury and later from Prof. Parth Pratim Das (Kirana Gharana), both in the City of Nawabs, Lucknow.
Prathamesh completed his Sangeet visharad in Hindustani classical vocal from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vishwavidyalay and is ranked as "B-high" grade from All India Radio in Light classical music. He has performed at prestigious platforms like the Kumbh mela, Allahabad; Agra Mohotsav; Ramkrishna Mutt, Lucknow etc.
Apart from Music, Prathamesh has also played Badminton professionally, at National level, until 2018 after which he left playing at competitive level to pursue further studies.
He is presently living a Bangalore corporate life and tries to find time to be a little serious about classical music.
